My longest experience was gained in the microfinance institution, where I managed and performed various functions, ranging from: Finance and Controlling in terms of analyzes, to tracking and developing institution’s procedures. Externally, I covered cooperation with partnering banks regarding our model for core lending activity and cooperation with EU MFIs networks – EMN and MFC. Occasionally, I organized Clients’ site visits and monitoring. Furthermore, I worked on website development and updates. Complementary, we had implemented a BDS program (advice, mentoring and training for clients), which were organized partly in-house, where I was occasionally involved.
Currently, I work as a Mentor within the Youth links program that relates to students with the aim of advising them in professional and personal development and training them for some concrete soft skills. This engagement has included personal work and just started on-line mentoring.
-Parallel, I am engaged as a sales and consulting agent for Fintech and software company for SME lending covering the SEE region. The assignment includes a lot of research about current state of digitalization of banking processes and what would be favorable UX for MSME clients. Hence, MSEMs are in focus in this project.
I can support startups with:
-Funding (applying for different public or private programs; available and affordable loans. possibilities for equity investment or through crowdfunding platforms); All these, except lending from banks is on a pretty low level in Serbia, partly because of regulation, but partly it is in the beginning of setting actors;
-Financial management and reporting for external institutions and internal needs;
-Business Communication skills, and
-Advise them on legal compliance and marketing activities – mainly online.
It would be welcome if you use already developed programs or modules that could be implemented. Otherwise, for example, I used and have access to Business Effective Communication training from FutureLearn-training company.
I hope we together could develop effective models for basic Financial Management and Control for start-ups.
