Liana Suleymanova offers extensive expertise in the Western Balkans’ political and cultural developments, including history, tourism, public policy, civil society, corruption, human rights, and EU integration. Since joining CBS in 2015, Ms. Suleymanova has been engaged in numerous projects in the fields of agriculture, tourism, cultural heritage, access to finance, digital technology, new projects and development of new products. Currently, Ms. Suleymanova holds a position of the “New Business Development Director” and is responsible for the maximization of business-to-business opportunities, including the absorption of new projects, the development of innovative products and the expansion to new markets.
Ms. Suleymanova has completed Bachelor studies at the American University in Bulgaria on the Political Science and IR, and History and holds a Master Degree in Central European History from Central European University in Hungary and Master in Advanced International Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. Ms. Suleymanova is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Interdisciplinary International Studies at the University of Vienna.
